Founded in 2023 by programmer and bestselling novelist Annika von Holdt, the brand combines her technical expertise with the collaborative brilliance of a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, a cosmetic chemist, and a biology student from Copenhagen University.
Cupid’s Kiss offers a fresh view on old problems and an evidence-based, safety-focused approach to haircare.

The Story
"It began with my own hair problem: progressive yellowing and degradation of my virgin locks. Trapped in a Faustian pact with purple products that delivered a lot more cloud than silver lining, and ordinary products that played second fiddle to the status quo, I eventually realised: if I wanted a safe and efficient solution, I would have to create it.
After a false beginning in Italy and two dead ends in Denmark (each proclaiming I would have to compromise on my high standards or sacrifice product performance), I finally found my people: a passionate team of geniuses committed to excellence.
Years of dedication, meticulous ingredient selection, tireless work on performance and countless formula tests later, here we are. My ambitious dream is realised without the burden of compromise.
